YUMA, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – With six games left in the ACCAC schedule, the Arizona Western College men’s and women’s basketball teams were in charge of Central Arizona on Wednesday night.
Both teams are looking to secure the top spot in the conference tournament. Both places him in 5th place, but with some help he could reach as high as 2nd or even 1st.
Meanwhile, the two Yuma Catholic football stars have signed dotted lines to continue their football journey at the same school.
Lorenzo Durán and Seth Stoner each committed to play Division II football together for four more years at Western New Mexico University.
And several local Arizona teams are looking forward to the AIA playoffs as they take to the field or court in the coming days with a chance to advance to the state tournament.
