Talk about grilling!

The NCAA currently has lawsuit against them They are suspected of violating Title IX because biological males are allowed to participate in women’s sports, but you would think that would be unlikely seeing as how they completely ignored the situation. . During Tuesday’s hearing centered on sports betting, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) put NCAA President Charlie Baker in the political George Foreman grill. (Related article: Program to combat transgender in women’s sports begins to strengthen NIL culture)

In early 2024, Blackburn issued a letter to the NCAA asking for an end to the transgender nonsense in women’s college athletics, prompting prominent politicians including Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) and Sen. It was also signed by 23 senators. Mr. Cruz (R-Texas), Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), and Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri).

But, of course, the NCAA didn’t do anything about it. As a result, Blackburn had no choice but to take advantage of the opportunity to speak with Baker.

“I remain disappointed that there is no NCAA policy that protects women in athletics. Our female athletes deserve that,” Blackburn said. “If we’re going to partner on gambling and other things, and we applaud that, we need to make sure we protect women’s sports for women.”

But Blackburn wasn’t the only one joining in on the fun, Hawley too.

“The only people who don’t seem to have any responsibility in this are you and the governing body, the NCAA,” the senator said.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-Louisiana) also criticized Baker, including bringing up millions of dollars worth of salary.

Damn it, Baker… Do you need cream for your burn?
