House Republicans condemned Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff for his actions regarding alleged collusion between former President Donald Trump and Russia after Wednesday’s vote.
The House has passed a resolution condemning Schiff for pushing claims by Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna that Trump’s success in the 2016 presidential election was in collusion with Russia. It passed by a majority of 213 to 209. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said on Jan. 24 that Schiff had been accused of multiple issues, including allegations that Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop was Russian disinformation and defending the now-discredited Steele Dossier. He dismissed Schiff from the House Intelligence Committee, citing allegations of lying. (Related: ‘I really understand his bias’: Rep. Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana said, “No congressman worked harder to get the blame than Shifty Adam Schiff.” Posted on Twitter. “I’ve never voted so easily in my life.”
Adam Schiff had to be expelled from the Intel board for leaking classified information, but the left tolerated it. Tonight they refused to accuse him. There will definitely be no charges or jail time for Adam.
At the same time, they argue that Trump should die in prison.

Other Republicans have been more outspoken about Schiff, who has often accused the Trump campaign of collusion with Russia in 2016 after Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.

Florida Rep. Matt Gates accused Democrats of spending five minutes cheering for Mr. Schiff on the floor after the censure vote.
“Democrats cheering for Adam Schiff on the House floor today after his denunciations will rival the crowds cheering for Barabbas in 2023!” Gates tweeted.
