New information on Zesty Zzeek’s Maricopa location

The plans for the pizza parlor that come in are approaching fully baked and ready for consumption.

tHe is a restaurant based in Awatalk Zzeek’s pizza Submitted in April Pre-application documents Open the sixth location at the southeast corner of Honeycutt and Whisker Roads.

Requests for public records to Maricopa City today returned letters from the surge of eight people. Phoenix Architecture and Design Company dated October 16th. I laid out the story of the project. The document proposes a 7,690 square foot building for a one-acre parcel.

According to the documents, Zzeek’s pizza occupy about 58% of the north building, with the other 3,200-square-foot buildings being used for medical and/or office tenants, but no tenants for those spaces have been announced.

The space occupying Zzeek includes a patio at the restaurant entrance where customers can sit when the weather is not burning.

The restaurant is said to be open from 10:30am to 10:30pm Sunday through Thursday, and from 10:30am to 10:30pm Friday and Saturday.

Zzeek’s will work with the city of Maricopa in traffic around the site to propose new slowing lanes along Honeycutt Drive to ease road traffic.

On the construction side, the property owners and eight rising people chose a concrete masonry unit building with long span steel joists, balustrade and foam roof structures.

“The property owner wants a very strict structure with longevity and performance to maintain the investment to hand over his children,” the letter states.

A spare floor plan for the restaurant includes a bar on the right side of the entrance, in the hallway behind the restaurant, with bar seats for customers and toilets. Meanwhile, on the left, it appears to be a service area where orders are placed, a dining area for guests to sit, a soda machine and event space.

Behind the house is a kitchen, multiple preparation areas, a walk-in freezer and cooler, dry storage and an office.

The exterior of the building will include not only trees, shrubs and cacti, but plenty of parking.

Zzeek’s pizza has been a restaurant chain in the valley since 2001 and has received many praises for its best pizza East Balete Rebune and Ahwatukee Foothills News. Best known for its wings, hand-washed crust and keto-friendly pizza options.

It is not known whether construction of the pizza restaurant will begin or if the location is open.
