The NHL has officially called off its schedule, and to celebrate, the New Jersey Devils released a very comical video featuring their defenseman. Dougie Hamilton As a professor.
The NFL has gone all out when it comes to schedule announcement videos, creating a thoroughbred-like competition between all 32 teams in the league to see who can create the best video that will take sports blogs by storm. The NHL doesn't have the same vibe, but who's to say it won't happen one day? (Related: Nashville Predators go full nuclear after acquiring Stamkos, Marchessault and Skay on first day of free agency)

The iconic hockey franchise decided to take Dougie, give him a fun mustache and eyebrows, and have him do a bit of acting as Professor Dougie Hamilton.
Yeah, and he's not such a bad actor.
