Pinal County, Arizona (KPHO, KTVK) — Pinal County legislators have made a last-ditch call to a dangerous new street drug. A sheriff’s deputy patrolling Interstate 10 stopped a driver on March 24 for having an expired tag, according to Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb.
He started talking to the driver and the passenger, but they didn’t get along.
Lam says investigators searched the car and found cocaine, fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, and 3 ounces of a gray rock-like substance. The lieutenant reportedly began feeling dizzy and lightheaded, and his heart began pounding.
But he doesn’t need to go to the hospital and is fine.
Investigators then sent the gray matter for inspection.
Test results came back on Monday, revealing the drug to be a new street drug called “Grey Death.”
The drug is reportedly a mixture of fentanyl and other powerful opioids.
In a video posted to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Lam said, “Just by being near that drug, look what happened to my lieutenant.” Imagine how deadly this would be.”
