New York City Will Do Everything Except Arrest Criminals

New York City is willing to literally do anything but arrest criminals and lawless hooligans who evade subway fares.

Thirty-six hours after the city installed so-called “spikes” at subway turnstiles to deter fare evaders, a New York Post photographer spoke. captured A photo of a man jumping over the mountain without difficulty. “Oh, so I have to jump over it? Okay, I don’t care, I’ll jump over it,” the man said. According to In the post.

Looking at the metal platethe spikes resemble dull waves. In fact, these are similar to the Crayola safety scissors that my 3rd grade art teacher gives me to make cuts decorative. New York City plans to install sharp spikes on benches and windowsills to keep pigeons away, but when it comes to lawless hooligans… They get a fun obstacle course that adds a bit of a challenge to breaking the law. This is a new level of video gaming.

That’s not to say the city’s recent improvements have backfired. It appears that the new toll congestion plan aimed at alleviating traffic congestion on the island has been withdrawn from the subway. It’s packed to the gills. What happens in a subway crowded with commuters, including potential criminals?

In late December, a gruesome subway murder occurred in which an illegal immigrant set an innocent woman on fire and fanned the flames until the woman was completely engulfed in flames. Hours after the incident, Democratic New York Governor Kathy Hochul reassured New Yorkers that crime was down and the subways were safe.

How many subway passengers actually believe what she says? How many more fare evaders will cause chaos and anxiety before the police start making arrests? How many more times will people set me on fire? pushed into an oncoming train Before a full-scale crime crackdown begins?

Time will tell.
