Nassau County Police (NCPD) arrested a 26-year-old suspect for allegedly raping a 5-year-old girl on Long Island, New York.
Police identified the suspect as an illegal alien named Wilson Castillo Diaz and said the alleged rape occurred on October 16. According to Police press release. Law enforcement arrested him on October 22nd.

According to NCPD, the child victim was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation following the incident. Diaz entered the country illegally through the Mexican border in April 2014, according to a press release. He was detained by the Border Patrol and later entered the country, but never appeared for an immigration court hearing, law enforcement said.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was evaluating the matter, NCPD said. “Detectives urge anyone who feels they may have been a victim of this individual to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244 TIPS or the Special Victims Unit at 516-573-4022. ),” the department added.
Police charged Diaz with first-degree rape, attempted first-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child, according to a press release. His bond was set at $200,000 cash, according to the New York Post. reported.
