With this promotion, park visitors who pay for one or more nights of camping at participating Desert Mountain County Parks will receive one night of equal or lesser value. free During the same stay.
“Maricopa County is home to 12 beautiful regional parks where residents and visitors can enjoy activities such as boating, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking and camping,” said Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers, who represents the East Valley region in District 1. “You don't have to wait until the temperatures drop to start planning your fall camping trip. Take advantage of our 'Buy One, Get One Free' camping promotions currently running at four regional parks across the county, and make time to explore nature and spend time with loved ones.”
“We're excited to announce that our buy-one-get-one-free camping promotion is back again this fall. Last year, we adjusted the promotion dates slightly to allow everyone to take advantage of the promotion before we got into the busy holiday season. This promotion is now active in our online reservation system so parkgoers can start booking their fall lodgings right away,” said Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Director RJ Cardin.

Participating parks are:
- Cave Creek Regional ParkLocated north of Phoenix, this park gives the illusion of being miles away from civilization. The campground has 55 individual camp sites.
- McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Located on the lower Verde River, this park is the jewel of the Northeast Valley desert. The park features 76 developed campsites perfect for RV or tent camping.
- Ussary Mountain Regional ParkLocated on the eastern side of the valley on the western edge of the Goldfield Mountains and adjacent to Tonto National Forest, the park has 74 individually developed campgrounds. Campgrounds accommodate RV or tent camping.
- White Tank Mountain Regional ParkAt nearly 30,000 acres, the park is the largest regional park in Maricopa County. Most of the park is made up of the rugged and beautiful White Tank Mountains on the west side of the valley. The park has 40 individually developed campgrounds for tent and RV camping.
