Nick Saban's foundation in Tuscaloosa, Nick's Kids, has done some great work over the years.
But the latest addition may become a Crimson Tide fan favorite.
Following the devastating tornado damage on April 27, 2011, Nick and Terry Saban pledged to sponsor Habitat for Humanity for each of the school's national championship wins, of which there were 18 at the time of Saban's retirement.
While houses were also built for the 2021 SEC Championship win and the 2022 Sugar Bowl, the “LANK House” holds special meaning for Saban and last year's team in commemorating their 2023 SEC title game win.
Nick and Terry attended the groundbreaking ceremony for their new home and welcomed University of Alabama graduate Jinaka Chambers and her son into their home.
Previously, Alabama's social media team posted video content of the team's players helping build a house.

“I'm sure you all know what LANK stands for – it means let all the opposition know. It's been kind of our team motto. I just happened to say it in a team meeting after we weren't playing very well early in the season and the players just responded to it,” Nick Saban said Wednesday. “But I think it symbolizes letting all the opposition know how much we can do to help others, to have compassion for others and to improve their quality of life. This is what we've always tried to do at Knicks Kids and we're proud of what everyone has done to make this happen for Ms. Chambers and Landon.”
Chambers, who works for the city of Tuscaloosa, has volunteered more than 250 hours on the home and now plans to purchase it at fair market value with a 30-year, interest-free mortgage.
She also spoke about what LANK House and Coach Saban’s contributions mean to her.
“I'm very excited. I'm a huge University of Alabama fan and alumnus. [to Bama] “I won a championship with Coach Saban in 2007. It means a lot to me. It's the last championship house, so it's pretty special. I love Jalen Milroe and the Terrion team that built that rank,” Chambers said.
Terry also thanked the players on the 2023 team for their efforts in making it possible to win an SEC title and build a house.
“I would also like to thank our team who won the SEC Championship last year and worked so hard to make this a home we can call LANK House,” she said. “We are proud to be able to provide Ms. Chambers and her son with a beautiful and safe home in our community.”
