This college football season, Nick Saban will appear weekly on the Pat McAfee Show to talk about the Tide, college football in general, his life and career, and other topics.

Of course, this week there was talk of Nick Saban not smoking cigars, so McAfee asked Saban if he smoked cigars.

And Saban’s answer, as always, is well thought out, and there are lessons to be learned from it.

“No. I don’t drink. I used to drink, but when I had kids and they were growing up, I decided I didn’t want to set that example for my kids, so I stopped drinking. .This was the best thing for me. I don’t get a hangover, I don’t feel sick. I just don’t do it,” Saban said.
