The nominees for the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 have been announced, and several legendary players and coaches from Alabama are on the list.
In the coaching category, Nick Saban is on the ballot in his first year of eligibility and is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches of all time, making him a surefire Hall of Fame candidate.
Another candidate is Sen. Tommy Tuberville, a former head coach who led the Crimson Tide to a tough start in the early 2000s. The former head coach at Auburn and Mississippi, Tuberville led Auburn to its longest Iron Bowl winning streak, beating Alabama six times from 2002-07.

Auburn University's two players on the list were 1984 All-American linebacker Greg Carr and Takeo Spikes, the Tigers' two-time defensive MVP.
Those selected will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on December 9, 2025 at the Bellagio Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas.
