Nickelodeon Is Hosting Super Bowl Alternate Telecast For First Time Ever

Both my kids and I are completely obsessed with this!

Reportedly, this season’s Super Bowl will feature a kid-centric presentation that will air on Nickelodeon. announcement From NFL and CBS Sports on Tuesday. This will be the first time the Super Bowl will be televised alternatively on another network.

CBS has the television rights to Super Bowl III, scheduled for February 11, 2024 in Las Vegas.

“We are thrilled to partner with CBS Sports and Nickelodeon to provide the first-ever alternative television coverage of the Super Bowl,” NFL Media Vice President Hans Schroeder said in a statement. “Nickelodeon’s previous telecasts have been a smash hit and created new and different ways to experience the game of the NFL. We are happy to offer another way to enjoy one of our events.”

Oh… this is going to be great.

If you remember, I actually blogged about the Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Rams Nickelodeon Christmas game last season. Now, this is actually the fourth season the NFL has done this, but it’s the first time it’s had multiple broadcasts, including the Super Bowl.
