Nina Jankowich, former president of the Joe Biden administration’s short-lived “Disinformation Governance Committee,” defended 51 former Intelligence Directors of the Intelligence Bureau who signed a letter questioning Hunter Biden’s laptop email at a hearing Tuesday.

“Do you think 51 former intelligence officers said that Hunter Biden’s laptops were the product of Russian disinformation?” asked Republican Washington MP Michael Baumgartner. “Do you think they influenced the American public’s trust in the Intelligence Reporting Agency, because they use social media to chase terrorists?”
“Does a free speech only apply when you like what is said? They were exercising their right to free speech. In fact, what they said was that they had the characteristics of a disinformation campaign that was true based on the evidence of the time,” replied Jankovic.
Cybersecurity experts told DCNF that they received an email from an executive at Burisma in April 2015 about the introduction of then-President Joe Biden, who was key to a post-investigation in New York.
DCNF received a full copy of Hunter Biden’s suspected laptop from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and provided Robert Graham, founder of cybersecurity firm Errata Security, an email copy, and a Forensic analysis of its metadata.
Less than three years later, the Biden administration served six of its 51 former executives and played a role. For example, three people joined the federal government’s “intelligence news expert” national security group. According to Announced in September 2023.
National Intelligence’s director of Tulsi Gabbard announced on March 10 that it had revoked security clearances for all 51 former staff members.
