Nordgrän-Tellez elected new Chamber Board president

SAFORD — The Graham County Chamber of Commerce announced Monday the election of new officers and president of the Chamber of Commerce Board.

Nicolas Nordgrand Terez, owner of La Paloma restaurant, was elected president. Her Corina Pino-Reyes of Valley TeleCom Group was elected Vice President. Torey Cranford, a business her analyst at the Center for Small Business Development at Eastern Arizona University, was elected treasurer.

In addition, the Nominating Committee appointed Mann Mortgage’s Isaac Morris to a first three-year term and Cranford to a second three-year term.

The election took place during the Chamber of Commerce Board’s annual training and organization meeting on Wednesday, January 18th.

Nordgrän-Tellez outlined priorities for this year, including refocusing the Chamber’s efforts on membership programs.

“We hope that more minority-owned businesses will join us and extend the services of the Chamber of Commerce to the business community,” said Nordgrän-Tellez.

The Board also discussed how to better communicate the benefits of being a member of the Chamber of Commerce and how to resume regular networking events.
