Rice holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s in higher education management from Southeast Missouri University.

In another key appointment, Syed Moinuddin has taken on the newly established role of Senior Associate Athletic Director, focusing on revenue sharing and NIL challenges. Moinuddin came to Flagstaff in 2013, previously serving as an Associate Athletic Director with an extensive background in compliance at institutions like the University of Oklahoma and the University of Miami.
