Northern Arizona Community on Edge as Authorities Probe Death of Two

Authorities in northern Arizona are conducting a death investigation after two people were found dead inside a vehicle, as first reported Monday afternoon. Coconino County Sheriff's Office officers and medical personnel from the Mormon Lake Fire Department responded to the scene near Stoneman Lake Road where they found the two people unresponsive shortly before 4 p.m. on Sept. 9. The identities of the two men have not been released as the investigation is ongoing and the Coconino County Coroner's Office is assisting in determining the cause of death. Meg Miller with the Coconino County Sheriff's Office confirmed, “At this time, there are no community safety concerns related to this investigation.” FOX 10 Phoenix.

While details about the fatalities are still unknown, the Coconino County Sheriff's Office has assured the public that there is no immediate danger to residents.
