New Partnership for Faster Lab Testing in Northern Arizona

The collaboration between Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) and the Sonora Quest Institute aims to streamline laboratory testing for Northern Arizona patients and their healthcare providers.

This partnership harnesses the collection network of Sonora Quest Laboratories alongside the local testing capabilities at Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC). This means that healthcare professionals and patients in the Flagstaff area can expect quicker access to emergency lab results. According to officials, results are typically available within four hours after the samples reach FMC’s lab.

Patients can have their blood collected either at the clinic or at the Sonora Quest Institute Patient Service Center, facilitating rapid examinations. Once the samples are taken, they are quickly processed through FMC. NAH representatives emphasize that this partnership is designed to give providers timely information, ultimately aiming to reduce patient costs and enhance convenience.
