Kate Winslet refuses to blur the lines between Hollywood aesthetics and real life, and she's not afraid to call it out.
The Oscar winner Time Magazine She appeared in a nude scene to promote her new film “Lee,” and said she remains adamant about showing her real body on screen and will continue to resist Hollywood pressure.
Winslet made it clear that she doesn't feel it's “brave” for female actors to show their natural selves in front of the camera.
“That's not brave at all,” Winsett told TIME. “I'm not a former postmaster fighting for justice. I'm not in Ukraine. I'm just doing work that's meaningful to me.”

Winslet plays famed World War II photographer and journalist Lee Miller in the film, and she has previously spoken about the importance of embracing her true self for the role. Refusing to be boxed in by Hollywood conventions, Winslet sits confidently topless in “Lee” and has no qualms about baring all her natural imperfections.
