Former President Donald Trump left the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday with a bandaged ear and an all-male Secret Service escort following an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The former president said:teamAccording to a tweet from the DC Draino account, all of the Secret Service's “female agents” are male, presumably in response to the intense scrutiny directed at their female colleagues.
The female officers were late on Saturday, and many expressed concern on social media.One of the Secret Service agents guarding Trump after the assassination attempt appeared to bow his head, briefly exposing the former president, as seen in a photo posted online by Matt Walsh.Video shows the agent look down and then bend down to retrieve what appears to be Trump's hat from the stage as he moves toward the stairs.

Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle said the agency places great importance on diversity in hiring, with the goal of having 30% of Secret Service hires be women by 2030. stated “While I sit here right now, I'm very conscious of the need to attract diverse candidates and provide opportunities for growth for all of our employees, especially women,” Cheatle told CBS in a May interview.
Secret Service chief a few months ago: “We're focused on hiring more women to increase diversity.”
