“If we don't do something globally, or collectively, about paddleball, or pickleball in the U.S., all the tennis clubs are going to be turned into paddleball and pickleball,” Djokovic told reporters at Wimbledon.

Djokovic, the world number two in men's singles, added that tennis needed to do more with its marketing to attract more viewers, especially among younger generations.

“Tennis is in a good place but at the same time, if you look at the marketing of Formula One for example and the growth of the sport, racing all over the world and how popular it is, I think we need to work harder on each tour,” Djokovic said.
