NYC Mayor Eric Adams Announces End To NYC Food Vouchers For Illegal Immigrants

Since the program launched in late March, the city has distributed prepaid debit cards worth a total of $3.2 million to about 2,600 immigrant families, witnesses said. Each card, distributed through the Roosevelt Hotel’s reception center, provided a family of four with approximately $350 in local purchases each week.
