Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams implied that a resident was racist at City Hall Wednesday after he shoved off an exorbitant rent.
“First of all, if you’re asking a question, don’t point at me, be respectful,” Adams said. “I am the mayor of this city, so please treat me with the respect you deserve. not.”

“Consider the conversation here in Washington Heights with the respect I deserve,” he continued. “Please treat me with the same level of respect that you treat me. So don’t point fingers at me. Don’t be rude to me. I’m an adult, so talk to me like an adult. In the case of a one-year contract, the rent will be raised by 3%. For a two-year contract, the New York Times reported that the price will increase by 2.75 percent in the first year and 3.2 percent in the second year. report.
