Carolyn Ruth Viliborghi passed away on April 8, 2023. She is the daughter of her John and her Gerry Durkee and was born on July 3, 1941 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Her family moved to Prescott in 1944. She attended Washington Elementary School, Prescott Middle School, and Prescott High School, graduating in 1959.

Proud to be a badger, she enjoyed Thespian, school plays, Pom Pom Girls, and the National Honor Society while in school.

Carolyn married Edward Biliborghi in November 1958. Her name is Sarah Folsom, a fourth grader.

After graduating in May 1959, she went to Idar-Oberstein, Germany, to accompany Eddie to where he served in the US Army. They traveled extensively in Europe while there.

After returning to the United States, she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at the Valley National Bank, JJJ Corp. at Prescott Public Schools, and AG Edwards.

Carolyn enjoyed helping Eddie with school activities and Prescott High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

She enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband. She was a member of Willow Hills Baptist Church all her life.

Before Carolyn was Edward Williborghi. Carolyn and Eddie are survived by their nieces Katherine and Giovanna Lovett, nephews Andy, Eric and Tyler Williborghi.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the exemplary and loving care that Maggie’s Hospice and Good Samaria Prescott Village gave to our aunt and uncle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a keepsake be donated to the Prescott High School Athletic Hall of Fame, 1050 N. Ruth Street, Prescott, AZ 86301, or to a charity of your choice.

At her request, the service will not be held. Her family suggests that you remember her with her smile and act kindly to her memory of her.
