Patrick Leroy Ewart has lived in the Prescott Valley since 1982 and was born in Junction City, Kansas on March 17, 1931 to Robert and Naomie Ewart (Warrington) on June 23, 2023. Died in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Patrick served in the Air Force from 1950-1954. From 1973 he owned Suburban Electric Company in Bemidji, Minnesota until 1982. Upon moving to Prescott Valley, he worked as a building inspector in the town of Prescott Valley.
In 1996 he became a Senior Plan Checker for Yavapai County and retired, but was later recalled as a Senior Plan Checker for Prescott Valley. Patrick was a member of the Open Doors of Prescott Valley He was a member of the Baptist Church for 20 years, and of Bethel of Prescott Valley he was a member of the Baptist Church for 23 years.
Patrick was left with a wife, Elfriede Anna Metz, whom he married on 12 June 1954 in Wiesbaden, Germany. his five children. Patty Marchant (Steve), Linda Goodwin (Brian), Crystal Thomas (Tony), Roy Ewart, Heidi Faulkner (Dave). He has his 15 grandchildren and his 27 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 14 at 2:00 pm at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery, 12000 E. Heritage Lane, Dewey, AZ 86327. Everyone is welcome. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church, 6901 East Horizon Lane, Prescott Valley, followed by lunch in Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome.
