Robert M. Bulla (Bob) passed away on January 8, 2023.

He was born on April 9, 1940 in Antigo, Wisconsin to Michael and Anne Bra.

After high school, Bob attended the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point for a year before moving to Arizona. Bob received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in the 1960s and later his master’s degree. After he taught for several years, Bob returned to school again, this time earning a Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State Law School. He began his legal career as a prosecutor in Phoenix, Arizona, but soon moved to the beautiful Hualapai Mountains in Kingman, Arizona, where he served as an attorney for the City of Kingman for over ten years. He quit the job and entered private practice.

As a lawyer, Bob was most passionate about putting his children first during a divorce. He has contributed to legislation at the state and federal levels defending children’s rights. He also loved building homes, traveling, riding motorcycles and bicycles, skiing and hiking, but actually what he loved most was adventure.

Bob is survived by his longtime partner (Eliza). his daughter (Jennifer), son (Jeremy), son-in-law (John) and grandson (Jereson). Additionally, he is survived by his sister-in-law (Karen) and his nieces (Kimberly, Cheryl, and Michelle) and their families. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Ann, and his brother, Ron.

A celebration of life will take place in the Hualapai Mountains later this year. Details will be published closer to the date. Anyone can participate.
