Body Found in Vehicle Linked to Singer D4VD

The Los Angeles Police Department is looking into a disturbing case involving a body discovered inside a car registered to the artist D4VD. Officers responded to a report about a foul smell emanating from a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of N. Mansfield Avenue on Monday just before 12:30 p.m.

According to reports from ABC7, the police discovered human remains in the front trunk of a Tesla. This vehicle is registered to David Anthony Burke from Hempstead, Texas. LAPD officials confirmed that they are investigating but have refrained from releasing any details about the vehicle owner’s identity, stating, “There is no information about the owner of the vehicle.”

Authorities indicated that the body was found in a bag, and the vehicle had been locked for several days prior to the discovery. Further information about the identity of the deceased has not been shared at this time.

D4VD, who is gaining traction in the music scene, has over 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 3.6 million followers on TikTok. He performed at Coachella earlier this year and recently released his debut album, which features viral hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide.”

Looking ahead, he is set to perform on Tuesday in Minneapolis as part of his world tour, which began in August. As of now, D4VD has not made any public statements regarding this tragic situation.
