Ohio State Makes Gargantuan Signing In Transfer Portal By Flipping QB Julian Sayin From Alabama

Ohio State University is back in business!

Julian Sane, the former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback and top recruit in the Class of 2024, announced his transfer to Ohio State University on Sunday. Mr Thain told the news: ESPN.

Sane took his talents to the NCAA transfer portal on Friday as head coach Nick Saban retires from the Tide. ESPN's rankings list him as the No. 3 overall prospect in the 2024 class and the No. 1 offensive prospect.

Sane will soon enroll at Ohio State University and participate in spring practice. He left Alabama after enrolling in early January. Shortly after Thain's arrival, Saban announced his retirement. (Related: Jim Harbaugh demands 100% power over Michigan State: Report)

“I'm incredibly excited to join the team here at Ohio State,” Sain told ESPN. “I have valued this program highly throughout the recruiting process and look forward to learning from some of the most talented players and coaches in college football and contributing to the team's success.”

As a senior at Carlsbad High School, Saiin had 2,369 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and only one interception. He finished his high school football career with 7,824 yards and 85 touchdowns (including 10 interceptions).

It's a huge draw for Ohio State…this kid can throw the ball.
