On Saturday night, a packed football stadium of Oklahoma Sooners fans belted out “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” in memory of the late country music legend Toby Keith, Saturday Down South reported.
Oklahoma Sooners fans roared and sang along when Keith's songs blared over the speakers at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium during the third and fourth quarters of the game against Temple University. According to Saturday Down South.

The University of Oklahoma football team has reportedly announced that it will honor Keith with a different song each week before the fourth quarter of games, with hits such as “Should've Been a Cowboy,” “I Love this Bar” and “How Do You Like Me Now?!” likely to be featured in the coming weeks, according to the outlet. The Sooners also paid tribute to players and coaches from the 1974 and 1975 national championship teams that night, according to the outlet.

Keith passed away on February 5, 2024 after a battle with stomach cancer that began in 2022. The country star is survived by his wife, Tricia Lucas, and their three children.
