One man dead in altercation, arrest made | Kingman Daily Miner

Fort Mojave – The Mojave County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests have been made in a fatal stabbing incident at Fort Mojave.

A representative reportedly responded to a call for service shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday, May 6, involving an altercation at a residence on Block 1500 of Camp Mojave Road, according to a MCSO news release.

“Deputies found a 23-year-old man who had been stabbed and seriously injured,” MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said. She succumbed to his injuries. ”

Mortensen said detectives summoned to investigate the murder arrested Jorge Antonio Rosales Torres, 42, of Bullhead City. Rosales-Torres said he was transferred to Kingman and held in adult custody on first-degree murder charges.

No details were provided on the nature of the controversy or how the men met. Mortensen said an investigation was ongoing.
