Caroleen Dobson has won new support for her Republican candidacy to represent Alabama's newly elected 2nd Congressional District. This is a poignant moment for Dobson and the group.
The Alabama Farmers Federation announced that Dobson has received the group's strong endorsement.
“Karoline is one of us,” said Federation President Jimmy Parnell. “She grew up on her fifth-generation cattle farm in Monroe County and understands the challenges facing farmers and rural families. Caroleen's intellect and personal drive have inspired her to advance her education and lead the nation. It gave her the opportunity to network within, but she never forgot her roots.”
“Her dedication to faith, family, and hard work makes her a strong voice for Alabama's 2nd Congressional District in the face of those who seek to undermine the fundamental values of our great nation.” ,” Parnell said.

Dobson grew up working on his family's ranch and competed in the National High School Finals Rodeo as a teenager. She is a member of the Alabama Forestry Commission and serves on the board of the Southeastern Livestock Exposition, which has sponsored the annual rodeo competition in Montgomery since 1958.
Dobson articulated why the support from Alabama Farm PAC, the political action committee of the Alabama Farmers Federation, and ELECT means a lot to her personally.
“I was born and raised on a family farm in rural southwest Alabama, where I participated in the hard labor and daily chores that fed families across the state,” Dobson said. “Because we have deep roots in agriculture and share a common bond, the farmers of the 2nd Congressional District are committed to ensuring that their voices are heard in every committee room, hallway, and chamber of Congress. I understand that I guarantee it will arrive.”

Dobson currently practices real estate law at Maynard Nexen, where he represents clients including home builders, small business owners, and individual landlords.
The Alabama Republican primary will be held on March 5, 2024.
