A dog carrier full of 24 cats was found abandoned Saturday at a Cleveland park where one of them was giving birth.

“This was truly shocking and horrifying,” the Forever Friends Foundation wrote in an article. facebook post. “There were many pups on top of each other, and one of them was actively giving birth.”
The available animals were rescued by volunteers from the Forever Friends Foundation and taken to Palma’s Able Animal Hospital. The cats were given water and medicine at the hospital. (Related: Report: Bodies found in home with over 60 cats)
“Thank you, Able Animal Hospital, for your immediate attention. We are grateful to the many hospital customers who made appointments to come in and waited extra time to give some of our cats fluids and medications. ” wrote the Forever Friends Foundation.

The Forever Friends Foundation cares for 12 cats, 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 6 kittens. Lawrence City Cats in the Flats I adopted two mother cats, including one who was actively giving birth in a dog carrier. Just Cats Rescue It houses the remaining nine cats, most of them pregnant females.
