OneAZ Credit Union supports four area nonprofits with $5k grants

SAFORD — Four service organizations in Graham County have each received $5,000 from OneAZ Credit Union.

On Monday, OneAZ announced that the local recipients of its Community Impact Grants program are:

● Gila Valley Boys and Girls Club

● Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation

● Nalwoodi Denzone Community Food Bank Serving the San Carlos Apache Tribe

● Eastern Arizona University Monster Exchange Pantry

“Eastern Arizona University Monster Exchange Pantry is pleased to receive a $5,000 Impact Grant from OneAZ to help continue providing food, clothing and school supplies to EAC students at its Thatcher, Arizona campus. Since 2016, the OneAZ Community Foundation has supported 25 nonprofits in the Gila Valley area with donations of $95,500.

OneAZ President and CEO Brandon Michaels said: “We recognize the tremendous need in Gila Valley and are grateful that these organizations are creating meaningful change. Because of their membership, they’re working together to help build a brighter future for all Arizonans.”

2023 will be a record year for the OneAZ Community Foundation’s Community Impact Grants program. This year, OneAZ is giving his $330,000 community impact grant to 66 nonprofits in Arizona.
