Ah…we are heading into another wild season.
For the 2024-25 college basketball season, 13. Texas A&M Aggies I had high expectations because of their experience, consistency, and wide range of talent on the roster. However, the campaign got off to a disastrous start in Monday night’s road contest as the UCF Knights pulled off their first major upset of the season at Addition Financial Arena.
Things got even worse for the Aggies as they blew an 11-point lead with 6:24 left in the game and the upset completely collapsed. As things were winding down, A&M went cold from the field and ultimately allowed UCF to finish the game. Big come-from-behind victory of 64-61. (Related article: Start off with a bang! Aggies guard almost playing hero CJ Wilcher We almost tied it with a 3-point shot, but you know what they say: ‘Shoulda, coulda, woulda.’
In the end, Knights fans stormed the court, making it a truly nostalgic sight as a college basketball fan.
