Oregon head coach Dan Lanning, who had been mentioned as a candidate to replace Nick Saban, tweeted today that he will remain at Oregon State.

“If you're scared of your coach leaving, come play for us. The Ducks aren't going anywhere and I'm not leaving either,” he says in the video.
Ever since the Saban news broke, there had been suspicions that Lanning was the frontrunner and would have the first opportunity to say no to the job, and on the surface that may have been the case. .
Athletic director Greg Byrne must now turn his focus to his next candidate.
The list of names likely includes Washington State's Karen DeBoer, Texas' Steve Sarkisian and Florida State's Mike Norvell.
