staff report
The United Way of Safford-Graham and Greenlee counties recently awarded Our Neighbors Farm & Pantry a $69,000 grant to help finance through staff migration and pantry and garden improvements.
Our Neighbors Farm & Pantry utilizes sustainable farming methods including drip tape irrigation, solar panels and water harvesting. Originally founded in 2004 as a non-profit pantry, it soon began a vegetable garden on donated land.
Farms harvest fresh produce and distribute it to those in need. The Pantry is here to help those in food security, and we appreciate donations from our public and corporate partners.
