‘Our Squad Was Never Small,’ Squad Member Says In Farewell Floor Speech That Barely Anyone Attended

Outgoing Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush gave a farewell speech Friday to a nearly empty room after far-left members of “The Squad” lost to moderate Democrats in the primary.

President Bush spent most of his 33-minute speech reflecting on his accomplishments, then thanking his political allies and becoming emotional as he did so.

“I’m so grateful and so honored,” President Bush began before his voice choked up. “Within these walls I have the greatest group of friends who will never be silent.”

She is a member of “The Squad,” a group of far-left lawmakers that includes New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar. expressed his gratitude. New York state Rep. Jamaal Bowman also lost in the primary.

“Our troops were never small, and we were never silent. We changed the course of history. Each of you made history, made a difference in your own right, and made a difference in my life. And I’m going to speak for brother Jamal, you, you made a difference in his life,” she said with a laugh.

“We are a family, and no matter what, while we are together here in Congress, we will always be connected because of our impact on the world and because of the experiences we have endured through this cycle together.” Masu.”

The end of Bush’s presidency was overshadowed by a scandal in which she used campaign funds to pay her husband and a bizarre episode in which she claimed she could cure a tumor with her own hands.

Her main challenger, Bell, received widespread support from many citizens and Jewish groups after President Bush opposed a House resolution condemning Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack on Israel.
