Outright Chaos Nearly Breaks Out As LSU, Texas A&M Get Into Pregame Scuffle

This is the kind of energy you need when you go into a big game.

On Saturday night, No. 8 LSU and No. 14 Texas A&M faced off in a matchup of two of the nation’s best schools, with the Aggies hosting Kyle Field in College Station in a classic SEC rivalry showdown. And it was on full display before the game as both teams got into a pre-game brawl. (Related: Kyle McCord’s historically poor performance lifts Pitt’s first feat in nearly 20 years)

Things just ended up being more than that. One hour left until kickoff time at 6:30 PM Central Time Meanwhile, players from both teams were warming up on the field. As the skirmish progressed, more Tigers and Aggies players were involved, eventually leading to the teams being separated.

Texas A&M won the game, but 38-23.

And the dream of the victory parade is only becoming more and more vivid…
