Owner Of Notorious Tennessee Attraction Charged Over 3 Horrific Allegations

Police reportedly arrested the owner of a notoriously haunted house in Tennessee on Friday, after he was later charged with attempted second-degree murder, rape and domestic violence.

Russ Alan McKamey was arrested at his Summertown home after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend twice. according to The Tennessean cited a Lawrence County arrest affidavit, which said investigators said McKamey strangled the victim, rendering her unconscious. reportHe is accused of raping and strangling her to death on Friday when he was arrested.

McKamey's bail is currently over $100,000 and he is prohibited from having any contact with the alleged victim.

McCamey owns a haunted house attraction out of his home, McCamey Manor, that he calls “The Torture Chamber,” where guests are dragged by chains, locked into small spaces and flooded with water. (Related: Police charge man with shooting death of haunted house entertainer)

Participants will reportedly be required to sign a liability waiver, pass a background check, pass a medical physical and mental exam, and spend up to 10 hours on the attraction. according to The entire experience will be filmed and shared online, according to USA Today, and some reports suggest that people may have to have their teeth pulled or may even die.
