Jake E. Lee, best known as Ozzy Osbourne’s former guitarist, was shot multiple times in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Tuesday, according to agents.
According to reports, a spokesperson for Lee said he suffered multiple gunshot wounds while walking his dog. TMZ. According to TMZ, Las Vegas Metro Police said they believe the shooting occurred around 2:40 a.m., with initial reports suggesting it was a “completely random” incident and that a famous musician was targeted. said he had not thought about it.

According to TMZ, a representative for Lee said that he is currently in intensive care at an unspecified Las Vegas hospital, but is currently responsive and in good condition following the incident.
He is believed to make a full recovery from his injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the shooting, but no suspects have been identified at this time. According to TMZ, no arrests have been made.

Lee is best known for performing with Ozzy Osbourne from 1982 to 1987. He succeeded the late Randy Rhoads and later became a member of the heavy metal band Badlands with Ray Gillen. Lee has also released music as a solo artist. Lee was part of Osborne’s band during the release of “Bark at the Moon” and “The Ultimate Sin.”
Osbourne released a statement after hearing about the incident that assaulted his former bandmate.
“It’s been 37 years since I met Jake E. Lee, and I’m still shocked to hear what happened to him today,” Osbourne told TMZ.
“This is yet another senseless act of gun violence.”
