The rivalry between the Padres and Dodgers is always heated, and it begins again here.
time bottom of the 7th inning Arriving for Game 2 of Sunday’s NLDS series between the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers, things were delayed as Los Angeles fans threw objects at Padres players, crowding the Dodger Stadium foul line with security guards. It’s over.
San Diego left fielder Jurickson Profar Two baseballs were thrown at him, likely in retaliation for the way Profar let the Los Angeles fans enjoy his first inning. He looked like a shortstop during the inning. mookie betts was about to hit a home run, but Profar swooped and caught the ball from a supporter. Not only did he steal a home run from Betts, he completely capitulated to Dodgers fans with his incredibly cocky attitude. After the ball was fired at Profar, his Padres teammates (and manager Mike Shildt) completely surrounded him to calm him down as the umpires pulled him from the outfield.
But things didn’t end there, and moments later, three objects were thrown into the Padres’ right field field. fernando tatis jr.also had some rude fun with Dodgers fans (as you can see in the video below).
The game was delayed by nine minutes.
