Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking seeks fugitive on drug charges | The Daily Courier

Partners Against Drug Trafficking (PANT) seeks the help of the public to locate fugitive Ryan James Hauser.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, Yavapai County K-9 lieutenants and PANT detectives located a suspected drug trafficker driving a pickup truck heading north on Highway 69 near Dewey. After multiple traffic violations, agents attempted to stop traffic.

Hauser responded to deputies’ attempts to stop him by accelerating slowly and refusing to stop for several miles. He reached speeds of up to 90 miles per hour during the chase. Hauser then made his U-turn on Route 69 and headed south. He allegedly took off to the right and crashed through the gates of the Bureau of Land Management before deputies lost track of him. The truck was then stranded at the bottom of a car wash about six miles (6 miles) off the highway, at which point Hauser fled the scene.

According to police, Hauser is currently facing a $35,000 bond from law enforcement against his two counts of illegal flying, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal damages.
