It is with sad hearts that we have to share this information that our fellow comrade-in-arms has passed away. Fellow Guardian of Timothy David Wright. Tim died suddenly on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Tim served with honor and dignity at the Mojave County Sheriff’s Office, Hualapai He Nation Police Department for four and a half years and most recently at the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office. He was known throughout the law enforcement family as a man of great character who took pride in the field in which he worked.

Deputy Light was also a fallen warrior. He served in the United States Army for 22 years. The SFC Light served admirably as an infantryman and tanker, serving in both Africa and Iraq during the conflict. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM), our military’s highest combined service medal and highest non-combat award, for his final assignment as a U.S. Army recruiter.

Deputy Wright continues his legacy with his wife, two teenage boys, five dogs and a cat (animals he rescued through a local shelter). Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. 💜💙💜💙
