Patrick Dempsey takes fans into a thrilling ride with Fox Sports and NASCAR Studios’ new documentary, “Drive: Patrick Dempsey’s Return to Race.”
Fox Sports dropped the trailer on Thursday, teasing fierce competition and a fast crash that they don’t want to overlook. The documentary follows Dempsey’s return to the racetrack as he registers his passion for racing with re re following his almost 10 years off from motorsport. According to Company press release. The one-hour feature is scheduled to debut on March 16th and includes exclusive interviews with NASCAR Cup Series champion Kevin Harvik, three-time American Le Mans Series champion, Porsche Factory driver Patrick Long and Rally Cross and Formula Drift champion Tanner Foot.

The documentary will take a look at Dempsey’s training and preparations behind the scenes to help fans refine his skills behind the wheels of some of the most powerful race cars on the track.
As the narrator said, the car was zipped by truck.
“You know, I want to win,” Dempsey said in an exhilarating teaser clip.
“I’m glad I came back,” he said.

The actor explained the exhilarating rush he felt on his return home.
“I’ve forgotten this side of my nature,” the actor and race car driver said.
“I didn’t realize I felt like I was asleep.
The engine spurted and roared as the race car passed the camera at high speed with a rush of excitement.
The camera captured a stressful moment when Dempsey re-entered professional racing in the world of high stakes racing.

Dempsey left the racetrack in 2016 to turn his attention to his family and acting pursuits. He is known for appearing in the television series “Grey’s Anatomy” and the 2007 film “Enchanted.” After playing in the 2023 racing film Ferrari, he had a new desire to return to sports.

Dempsey began his racing career in the early 2000s, and his passion for extreme sports promoted his epic return.
