Paws 4 Hope Returns to Flagstaff on May 3 for a Day of Pet-Friendly Fun

Flagstaff News – Cancer Support Community Arizona is excited to announce the return of its annual Paws 4 Hope Charity event at Bushmaster Park in Flagstaff from 9am to 1pm on May 3rd. Announced by Purina and Warner’s Nursery, the fun and free community festival brings together pet lovers, furry companions and communities to bring you a day of fitness, fun and fundraising.

Arizona, a cancer support community, will elevate and strengthen those affected by cancer by providing support, fostering a caring community, and breaking barriers to care. The organization provides emotional and social support to people affected by cancer by offering over 100 programs per month, including support groups, cancer resource navigation, social activities, mind/social therapy, nutritional counseling and educational seminars. All programs are offered free of charge and are designed to support cancer patients, their families and caregivers throughout their cancer journey.

Participants can expect a pet-friendly fun day while supporting a big cause. The highlights of the event are as follows:

  • Tails & Trails Fund Run sponsored by Midtown Animal Clinic: Kick the day with a scenic run and walk at all fitness levels that are perfect for you and your puppy.
  • Bare & Discovery Pavilion: Explore locally crafted pet products, treats and accessories at Vendor Village.
  • Photo booth hosted by Canyon Pet Hospital: Snap A photo of a memorial with your furry friend to remember the day.
  • Best Tricks Contest: Show off your pet skills for a chance to win prizes.
  • Positive Training Zone: Get professional dog behavior advice and training tips in on-site mini-sessions from professional trainers.
  • Dog Wash & Hydration Station: After enjoying your pet, spoil your pet in a refreshing bath and stay hydrated at both pet and human water stations.
  • Food Truck: Meal your cravings with a local food truck that serves delicious meals and snacks all day long.
