MARICOPA COUNTY, Arizona – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the Dysart Road and Glendale Avenue area, according to a report. Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was beaten in the middle of the road on Monday night, according to the sheriff’s office.
Due to the incident, Dysart Road from Glendale Avenue to Ocotillo Road is closed to both northbound and southbound traffic, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The area will remain closed for several hours.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene after the crash.
It’s unclear whether speed, alcohol, or drugs contributed to the crash, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
