As the proud owner of a Sidney Crosby jersey, and as someone who got (kinda) close to him during the Stanley Cup Championship Parade, you better believe I’m happy to see this. Sure, I’m a Florida Panthers fan, but the Penguins would definitely be high on my list. What’s not to like about Crosby, Jaromir Jagr, their brand, the city of Pittsburgh?
Plus, despite the fact that he’s Canadian, how can you not love and admire this man’s underwhelming career and how he’s carried himself?
Congratulations, Sidney Crosby! Well-deserved praise for a great career!
