Five people are confirmed dead and two children are missing after a flash flood hit a road in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.

“We will continue to search for our two children. Either way, we are not giving up,” Brewer said. “Weather is a factor, but at this point we intend to continue operations and be ready for tomorrow.”

A father, a four-year-old son, and a grandmother escaped from the family. But a mother and two missing children were swept away by volatile water, 6ABC reported.
“In my 44 years of life, I have never seen anything like this,” Brewer said. “When the water came up, it came up really fast. I think I did.”
Five of the seven missing have been rescued, Brewer said. His mother was among the bodies found.
A total of 10 people were rescued. Eight were pulled from vehicles and two were pulled from streams. Three vehicles were washed away, but no one was inside when they were later found. One vehicle veered him 1.5 miles from the creek’s starting point.
Three roads remained closed since Sunday morning. Authorities warned people not to cross the flooded roads.
