“Around 2am last night, my family and I woke up to the door from Pennsylvania Police after an arsonist fired a shot at the governor’s residence in Harrisburg,” Shapiro posted. “While the Harrisburg Fire Department was on the scene and they worked to put out the fire, we were safely evacuated from the residence by the Pennsylvania Police and helped by Capitol Police.
“Every day we stand up to law enforcement and first responders who run towards danger to protect our community,” Shapiro continued. “Last night they did that for our family, and Lori and I will forever thank them for keeping us safe.”
