Phoenix Suns guard Devin BookerTwo-time Olympic gold medalist Nike Basketball introduces a new colorway of the “Book 1”. The Sedona Nike Book 1 Shoe is inspired by the Sedona landscape.
Booker, a three-time All-Star, has established himself as one of the NBA’s best players, according to Nike. “He is always focused on his game, carefully watching his every move on his way to becoming one of the top shooting guards in the league. His methodical approach allows him to draw inspiration from the fundamentals of the greats. ”
Booker’s first signature shoe comes in a red hue, with tones of “Magic Ember,” “Picante Red,” and “Washed Coral,” covered in stitching on the upper that references the region’s topography.
The back of the tongue tag has the words “Sedona Red Rocks” written on it.
The heel tab says “Sedona” and “No Service.”
The sole features a “candy cane” design with two-tone red and tan stripes.
This iteration removes the heel tab and keeps it streamlined.
Retail price is $140 and will be available for purchase on Wednesday, January 1st.
Booker won two Olympic gold medals with the U.S. basketball team in 2020 and 2024. According to the NBA, Booker totaled 14,529 points in his first nine NBA seasons, making him the fifth player in NBA history to reach 14,000 career points and 1,000 career 3-pointers. I will be 28 years old on February 25, 2024.
He averaged 24.3 points, 46.4 FG%, 35.73 FG%, 87.0 FT%, 5.0 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in 598 career games, making him the only player in NBA history to average at least 24 points on 45 field goals. He joined Kevin Durant as a player.
He ranks second in Suns history with a career scoring average of 24.3 points per game, behind Charlie Scott’s 24.8 points, and ranks second in total points with 14,529 points. Booker ranks sixth in Suns history with 2,993 career assists.
In the 2022-23 season, Booker and Durant scored 188 points in their first three games together, the most by two NBA teammates in their first three games together since 1963-64. He scored the most points and is 4th all-time. The NBA says only three cases follow three others, including Wilt Chamberlin.
On February 24, 2023, Booker passed Steve Nash’s 1,151 to become the Suns’ all-time leader in 3-point field goals.
